Details of the Hair Transplant Operation Process

Preparation for Hair Transplantation Operation

The stages of the operation are explained to you by the specialist. Your photos will be taken to see the process clearly before and after hair transplantation. Afterwards, if you have chosen shaved hair transplantation, the team will proceed to the shaving and washing area to shave your hair. Here, after the shaving process, the hair transplant specialist comes and determines your front hair line and other areas to be transplanted. The average number of grafts will be clearly stated at this stage.

Transition to Hair Transplant Operation

After the preparation phase, the patient is taken by the team to the hair transplantation area, which is a sterile environment. There is only sterile equipment in the transplantation area. First of all, the back area of the hair, known as the donor area, where the hair follicles will be collected, is anesthetized with local anesthesia. The area is anesthetized by spraying with pressure, which is a completely needle-free and painless method. The operation begins without feeling any pain or ache.

Hair Follicles Collection Process

Hair follicles from the donor area are collected with a device called a micromotor and placed in a special solution. Hair follicles can be single, double, triple or even quadruple depending on the density of the hair. Accordingly, the hair follicles are separated and kept in solution ready for transplantation. The hair follicles are harvested with a micro motor, without causing any damage or tissue loss. Since there will be a homogeneous intake, there will be no baldness in the donor area. Purchases are made with equal distribution.

Channel Opening Process

If the collected hair follicles are transplanted with the FUE Technique and Sapphire FUE Technique, grooving must be performed. The channel opening process refers to the place where the hair follicles will be located. Micro channels opened with sapphire tips allow for more dense transplantation. This frequency is not such that it will damage the hair follicles. Sapphire tips are thin, smooth and specially produced tips. The channels it opens allow it to fully adapt to the root and hold on to it. Due to this, there is no problem in the channels to be opened.

In the DHI Technique, no canals are opened, but transplantation is done with the help of special pens called Choi. The collected hair follicles are placed into pens and transplanted. The pens grasp the roots and place the root directly with its special tip.

Hair Transplant Procedure

The collected hair follicles are transplanted by working from the front line of the hair to the vertex, taking into account the angle of hair growth. The area to be transplanted is drawn and determined by the specialist before the operation, and a hair transplant will be performed in a way that will meet your wishes and make you happy, provided that a completely natural appearance is the first condition.

In transplantations with FUE Technique and Sapphire FUE Technique, the roots are performed with special equipment that grasps the hair follicles. However, in the DHI Technique, transplantation is carried out directly with the help of pens called Choi, which have special tips. The operation process takes between 6-9 hours depending on the number of grafts to be transplanted.

The process on the day of the operation proceeds like this. After the operation, the recommendations given by the clinic should be followed and no extra action should be taken. They come to the clinic regularly for 2 days and are dressed and washed for the first time. It would be beneficial to arrange your travels and leaves accordingly.
